@BigJimFish reviews the Vectronix Vector X rangefinding binoculars from Safran. These laser rangefinding binoculars feature built in Applied Ballistics Elite, a 304x256 AMOLED display, and a next generation laser rangefinding engine similar to that used in the Sig Kilo 10k rangefinding binoculars. The Vector X is compared to those binoculars as well as the Leica Geovid Pro binoculars that also feature Applied Ballistics. A good bit of time is spent discussing real world ranging performance, optical performance, and available accessories. Most notable among these are the “range extenders” which increase magnification 40% and are designed to work in conjunction with the glass etched reticle in the Vector X binoculars to enable use as a spotting scope replacement for practical rifle competitions.
